| Steve Shaver and the Shaver Motorsports/Cosgrove Racing Team Heas to Kentucky this Weekend | VIENNA, WV (May 29, 2007)- Steve Shaver and the Shaver Motorsports/Cosgrove Racing Team will compete in a Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned event in Florence Kentucky at Florence Speedway Saturday June 2nd. The 50-lap feature event will pay $10,000 to the winner. Shaver is currently 7th in the Lucas Oil Series national point's standings and has one win on the series in 2007. Steve and the Ludicrous Energy Drink, Drywall Systems Inc, Malcuit Race Engines, Rocket Chassis competed in two events over the past weekend. On Friday night Steve competed in the MACS sanctioned event at Skyline Speedway. Shaver would start the 50-lap feature from the outside pole position but found out quickly his tire choice was not suited for the track conditions. Shaver would pit for a tire change under caution and felt like his car was moving forward until getting caught up in a wreck and retiring finishing 22nd. Shaver and the team then headed to Muskingum County Speedway for the IRS sanctioned 50-lap $5,000 to win feature event on Saturday. Shaver would win his heat race and run in the top five the entire event finishing 4th in the final run down. Fellow teammate Sean Cosgrove also won his heat race and finished 9th in the feature event.
