Orlando, Fla. (April 11, 2007) Orlando Graphix has stepped up to the plate for the Super Stock 50 Saturday night at New Smyrna Speedway. For any Super Stock driver who runs Friday night at Orlando SpeedWorld and goes to New Smyrna Speedway on Saturday for the Super Stock 50, Orlando Graphix will pay that driver an extra $200.00 if they win the 50 lapper. Yes, I said, $200.00 which means one driver could go home with $700.00 in his pocket.
That means that New Smyrna Super Stock drivers will have to travel to Orlando SpeedWorld on Friday night if they wish to be considered for the added bonus at New Smyrna Speedway. You don't have to win at Orlando SpeedWorld, just be there and race on Friday.
"My hope is this will make the race even better and help bring in more cars for the 50 lapper," said Orlando Graphix owner Mark Keeler. "This is a great challenge for the drivers at both Orlando SpeedWorld and New Smyrna Speedway to see just how good their luck is at both tracks."
Orlando SpeedWorld will open their pit on Friday night at 4 p.m. with racing action at 8 p.m. New Smyrna Speedway will open their pit at 4 p.m. on Saturday with qualifying for the 50 ;lap Super Stock race at 6:30 p.m. Racing starts at 7:30 p.m. at New Smyrna.
