Murphy Takes on Nashville for First Time
Nashville, Tenn. March 26, 2007 - As with most of the tracks on the ASALMS Schedule, Sean Murphy has never seen them. Murphy will race at Music City Motorplex in Nashville, Tenn. for the first-ever time on Saturday March 31. He will pilot the no. 32 ASI LIMITED, Akzo Nobel, Spectrum Metal Finishing, Aluminum Shapes Late Model for the Music City Spring Clash 200. Murphy finished 4th in his Challenge Division debut at San Antonio Speedway last month. He’ll be looking for another solid finish.
“I think if we can keep top fives and keep our nose clean we have a good shot at the Points Championship,” said Murphy. “I would like to win one too along the way. But I know we need to take it race by race and be patient and the wins will come to us.”
Sean Murphy is led by crew chief Deon Deneau for the Challenge Division races. He too feels the team has started off in a good direction. “I think we’ll be good at Nashville,” said Deneau. “Unlike San Antonio we’ve raced at Nashville before. I know its Sean’s first time there, but he seems to adapt very quickly to his surroundings.”
