"Malabar Missile" Kenny Adams Approaches 100th O'Reilly United Sprint Car Series Win | by Bill Green USCS SPECIAL (Mar.12th,2007) The O'Reilly United Sprint Car Series North/South Asphalt Shootout is schedule to assault the Peach State Speedway asphalt, in Jefferson, GA on Saturday March 17th. For Kenny Adams it has been a labor of love. Running almost every USCS event the past five years Adams has accumulated an incredible 98 A-Main Feature wins on the dirt and asphalt USCS Tours. Being two races away from the century mark is starting to get some national attention. Apparently the Malabar Missile has a wins VS starts average of some .325. An amazing number in any format, but the USCS Sprint Car Series has had so many great and talented racers over the years, that it's beyond belief for most. "I've always enjoyed the USCS format and the challenge of all the different tracks they visit, but I am kind of surprised that I've had this much success over these last 5 or 6 years." stated the some what humble, but proud veteran sprinter by phone from his home in Florida. "I've had a lot of help along the way, folks like Red, Goodson Farms and long time sponsor C & B Mushrooms." Adams will hope to continue his march toward the century mark of wins by winning this weekend at Peach State Speedway. He'll have to do it against some major northern competition in the form of big block 410 winged outlaws. There is added incentive for the northern invaders, as USCS promoter Pete Walton has placed a bonus of $500 for any driver from north of the Mason-Dixon line that can win the Saturday night A-Main event.
