| Hoosier Racing Tires Official Tire for All Star Outlaw Late Model Series | HUNTSVILLE, AL—Officials from the All Star Outlaw Late Model Series and Hoosier Racing Tire have made Hoosier the official racing tire for th2 inaugural 2007 All Star Outlaw late Model Series season as it kicks off the 2007 season at the Birmingham Int’l Raceway in Birmingham, AL., with a 100 lap $3,000 to win $500 to start event. Saturday night March 31st.
“We are pleased to have Hoosier Tire on board with the series in it’s first year and with this being a new look to late model racing in the southeast, Hoosier wanted to get involved on the ground floor, said Ben Atkinson series promoter. “We are going to be on the 2045 tire for, it is the same late model tire that has been around this area with Hoosier for years and we have had such good luck with it, we decided to stay with it.”
Hoosier Race Tires will once again be distributed for the All Star Outlaw Late Model Series through Wagner Race Tires in Harvest, AL., and should be ready for purchase next week at 256-655-7260.
The All Star Outlaw Late Model Series has been created as an alternative to the template body style late models those races on all the super late model tours and 2 and 4 barrel program across the southeast.
The schedule is starting to come together with an additional date being added at Birmingham for Saturday night October 13th another date being added at the Huntsville Speedway in Huntsville, AL.
Friday practice at Birmingham will be from 4 pm till 8 pm, with pit gates open on Saturday at 1 pm practice 3 pm, qualifying at 6 pm and race time set for 7 pm.
