C.A.R.S. Motorsports re-signs sponsors and adds driver | Team owner Rick Bristol announced today that he has reached an extension with Toyota Industrial Equipment, Florida Lift Systems and Southern States Toyota Lift for continued sponsorship on his #30 Race Truck for the 2007 season, with an option for 2008. Bristol also announced he will have Chad Pierce driving most of the event in 2007. " I am excited to continue our relationship with Toyota Industrial Equipment as the worlds #1 Forklift company in the world. I also am thankful for Florida Lift Systems and Southern States Toyota Lift owner Jeff Fischer's support again in 2007. The program in 2006 was great for the company and our employees to come together at several special events and just working on and following the truck during the year" stated Bristol. " I am also excited to have Chad Pierce driving the truck for most of the races we will run this year. Chad did a great job jumping in to the truck for the Hopkins Family Truckers 200, he drove a great race and gave us the best finish of the year 6th. I will drive maybe one race at Orlando and one maybe at Bronson because I really love those places. We will run 8 -10 races in 2007 as time allows. Chad drove my mini-stock and won 3 races for us and I feel with some work and time in the truck he can get us to victory lane this year, he is a very talented driver and I have known him since he was a little guy". " We plan to race the final night of speedweeks Feb 17th as part of the Pete Orr Memorial Night at New Smyrna Speedway. Chad will drive the #30 that night in honor of my good friend Pete. We will come up with something special on the truck to for Pete" added Bristol The season will once again end with the #30 taking part in the 2nd Annual Truckers 200 promoted by Rick Bristol at Orlando Speedworld December 14th & 15th, 2007.
