Staropoli notches top 10 at Charlotte County Speedway!!

Orlando FL. - 10-2-06 Patrick Staropoli and his team came into FASTRUCK competition at Charlotte County Speedway Saturday night trying to break a string of bad luck and a brief bit of time off. Patrick began the day trying to get the truck to handle well on the flat 3/8 mile speed plant.

" We were to tight in the middle of the corners and way to loose off. We threw a bunch at it but it never really got much better." stated Staropoli. He qualified 10th at a 16.97 second lap. He would start the 75 lap grind from that spot, but would manage to advance during the event.

He used some patience and strong moves to advance as several of the trucks that were fast early in the race faded back into his grip. He made the moves and was able to make it up to the 5th spot before the checkers would fall.

" We have had some bad luck lately so a top five is good. We will have to really do some checking on the chassis and make it better we have three weeks to prepare for USA International's big 3/4 mile track which will be our next race. I am excited to go back as we had a great run there the first time around" he added.

The Star race team will now prepare to go back to USA International where Patrick notched a top 5 in his first ever race at the big and fast track. For more on this young charger please visit www.patrickstaropoli.com .
