Cody Pitts on a roll in FAST Late Model Series! | C.A.R.S. Motorsports & Racer Marketing Orlando FL. 4-15 - Fourteen Year old young gun, Cody Pitts, is on a roll in the new FAST Late Model series. Pitts won his second in a row Saturday night at the exciting Ocala Speedway. Pitts would begin the night with a second place qualifying effort just missing the top spot. That was all done just for points reasons, as Cody would have to start the feature from the rear after winning race one at Charlotte County a few weeks ago. He would start eleventh for the 100 lap feature event. After a quick caution on the opening lap for Spencer Taylor, Pitts would then have a close call himself on the next restart as Sean Bass and Bobby Spaeth would get together. Once under way Pitts used some great driving, patience and clean aggressiveness to work his way to the front. On lap seventeen Pitts would grab the lead. He would hold a comfortable lead for most of the rest of the race. Late in the race a caution would give Sean Bass the chance to close up and see what he could do with the younger driver. Pitts would be up to the challenge and would get away to a five car length lead as he took the checkered for his second win in as many races. "The car was just perfect tonight, my dad and Roland (Hayes), really had this thing on a rail. I feel great and am looking forward to Orlando and Citrus. I am going to both to win, we are really running well right now" stated Pitts. Cody is sponsored by some great folks that make it happen. Autoway Chevrolet, Broke-n-Poor Surplus Building Materials, Fransisco's Custom Body Shop, Autozone of Auburndale, Phantom Graphics and he dad Pitts #1 Muffler Shop are helping to give this fast rising youngster the tools to go fast and turn left. You can see more about this talented young hot shoe on his website codypitts.com. "Thanks to Mom and Dad for giving me this opportunity and sacrificing for me to be able to race. Thanks to my sponsors for all their help" added Pitts. Have an opinion on
