| Sunoco Race Fuels/Gulf Coast Modifieds Thunder into Citrus County Speedway this Saturday Night!! | By Rick Warren
The thundering sound of the Open Wheel Modifieds will be heard loud and clear this Saturday Night at Citrus County Speedway, as the GulfCoast Modifieds take on the tough flat track at the Fairgrounds. This will be the first appearance at Citrus County in 2006 for the GulfCoast Modifieds, and the drivers are all anxious to return to this highly competitive race track.
Collins, Jefferson, Bowman race for the lead @ Desoto Super Speedway
After the season opener at Desoto Super Speedway, Lee Collins holds a 14 point advantage over Wayne “Rocketman” Jefferson, with Ralph Bowman only 4 points behind Jefferson. This 50 lap shootout at Citrus County could really shake up the early season point standings.
A large field of race cars is anticipated, and this should be a great race.
Citrus County Speedway always puts on a great show, and the modifieds always do their part. Come on out for a great night of racing entertainment. Hope to see you there!!
