| O'Reilly Southern All Stars Return to North Georgia Speedway | CHATSWORTH, GA-- -- The O’Reilly Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series will return to the North Georgia Speedway on Saturday night April 1st for a $5,000 to win 50 lap super late model event. This will be the first return to the Chatsworth, GA., facility in over 5 years.
2005 series champion Chris Madden of Gray Court, SC., will be led the OSAS drivers into the third event of the season as the series has now had Madden take the win in the opening race at the Cherokee Speedway and Scott Bloomquist scored the win at the Cleveland Speedway in the Shamrock 60. The season might start off with a third different winner in as many events. Randy Weaver of Crossville, TN., currently second in points on two points behind Madden, third is Clint Smith of Senoia, GA., fourth Freddy Smith of Knoxville, TN., fifth Jimmy Owens of Newport, TN.
Other drivers that are expected to be in action include Ray Cook of Brasstown, NC., Brandon Kinzer of Allen, KY., Joe Armes of Petros, TN., 2005 OSAS Rookie of Year Mark Vineyard of Powell, TN., Jeremy Clements of Spartanburg, SC., Dale McDowell of Chickamauga, GA., Skip Arp of Georgetown, TN., Todd Morrow of Cleveland, TN., Shane Tankersley of Morganton, GA., Aaron Ridley of Chatsworth, GA., and many may more.
Pit gates will open at 3 pm with drivers meeting set of 5:15 pm and hot laps to start right after drivers meeting.
