LIVE SPEEDWORLD OPENER AND BRONSON CRASH-A-RAMA SET FOR WEBCASTS | Race fans again will get a chance to watch more action via the internet as www.tvshowcaster.com plans two events for the month of March.
This Friday's FASCAR season opener at Orlando Speedworld will be webcast live starting at 8PM and will feature 100 laps for the Goodyear Challenge Series Late Models as well as all of the other racing classes.
This will be a live pay per view event but only costs $5.00. Fans can subscribe to the PPV in advance beginning this Wednesday, March 15th, simply by logging on to www.tvshowcaster.com at any time of the day or night. Fans are urged to order early as there is limited bandwidth for the live webcast.
The crew of www.tvshowcaster.com will move on to Bronson Motor Speedway on Saturday to tape the first Crash-A-Rama event of 2006. This will be a wild and crazy show, not only for those who will be in attendance, but for those who purchase the special pay per view which will be available beginning March 24th.
The Crash-A-Rama will be taped and edited for time to get everything in a 2-3 hour time frame of nothing but the nutty crash n' smash action.
This PPV event will only cost $9.95 and will be available each day on www.tvshowcaster.com beginning March 24th for one month.
"We expect a lot of people to log on and watch this thing then call their friends and tell them to watch this crazy event as well," says producer Dean Baker of Post FX Video Productions, the company that will handle the taping of this event as well as doing the live webcast at Speedworld. "We really expect more than just the typical stock car racing crowd to log on for this show. People who like reality type TV or just crazy stuff will get a kick out of this, especially if they've never seen a Crash-A-Rama" he says.
Baker also indicates he'd like to do more shows at Speedworld and other venues throughout the State of Florida but would like to approach things a bit differently.
"What I'd like to do is get a group of investors/advertisers involved to cover our costs so that we can show these events for free." he says.
"This is much more far reaching than broadcast or cable TV and it's a channel dedicated to racing 24/7, yet the cost is minimal compared to the dollars that need to be spent on regular or cable TV time," he says.
