WWW.TVSHOWCASTER.COM To Televise Orlando SpeedWorld Winternationals | After a better than expected opening week last week, www.tvshowcaster.com is set to webcast all five nights of racing from Orlando Speedworld as the INEX/600 Series Legends Cars, Bandeleros and Thunder Roadsters take to the track Tuesday through Friday evenings this week.
All webcasts begin at 7PM and weather is not expected to be a factor this week after playing havoc with the schedule over the past weekend. All events can be watched on a pay-per-view basis at just $5.00 per night. Just log on to www.tvshowcaster.com and click on channel 3 for RaceLine. There you can set up your account and select the nights you want to watch.
"We had a few glitches, but all in all our first effort was better than we expected," says Dean Baker of Post FX Video who is producing the www.tvshowcaster.com events. "The weather threw us a couple curves but the track worked well with us to insure the people got what they paid for and the quality of the webcast was much better than we thought it would be. We're making a few adjustments and it should be even better this week," he says.
Late in the week, George Webber, technical director for www.tvshocaster.com, even added a blog to the site where viewers can post their comments, most of which have been very positive. With the popularity of the Legends Cars world-wide, pre-buys of the webcast have exceeded all expectations.
Not only will the fans get to view some great "spec series" racing provided by the 600 series machines, but they'll also get to see some good down-home "slam-bang" stock car racing as well beginning Wednesday night as the FASCAR Super Stocks will be in competition over the final four nights. The USAC Ford Focus Midgets will run again on Friday night as well.
Race fans will get to see drivers as young as 8 years old in the Bandelero Bandits to veteran drivers like Cotton Spry, Clay Hair, Mike and Mitch Verhaagh plus long-time Florida short-track ace Paul Grynewicz who will be competing in a Thunder Roadster. Grynewicz has driven many types of cars at Speedworld including Figure-Eight cars. Again all webcasts begin at 7PM live from Orlando Speedworld. For more information or to sign up for the pay-per-view, simply log on to www.tvshowcaster.com.
