| O'Reilly Supertruck Series Release Partial Schedule | HUNTSVILLE, AL—The O’Reilly Southern Supertruck Series officials have released partial schedule as of now for the date that have been confred for the 2006 seasson for the series. The schedule stands at 11 events that are booked and the series is looking for a 15-18 race schedule to be the final count for the year.
The season will start on Sunday afternoon Febriary 26th , then the series will return to the Seonia Speedway in Senoia, GA.,for two events, then the other Georgia evenst as of now will be with the anniula night of speed at the Lanier National Speedway. The series will once gain return to one of the favorite facilites among the drviers as the series will make two appearances at the South Alabama Speedway in Opp, AL. New to the schedule will be two vents at the North Wilkesboro Speedway in North Wilkesboro, NC., twice during the year..
Okie Mason of Eight Mile, AL., the 2005 series champion as well as the 2005 Rookie of the Year Mitchell Walls of Lacey’s Spring, AL., will be returning to the series as well as Cohen Motes of Gainesville, GA., Richard Johns of Lawrenceville, GA., Henry Delaune of Waggaman, LA., Greg Motes of Gainesville, GA., Scott Davis of Dawsonville, GA., Brian Huff of Buford, GA., Wally Dobson of Murfreesboro, TN., William Horton Jr., and Bubba Gale of Irvington, AL., This should make the O’Reilly Supertruck Series one of the most competitive year in the series.
The season will get the green flag Sunday afternoon February 26th at the Birmingham Int’l Raceway in Birmingham, AL., as part of the Earlybird Twin 100’s that will take place with an All American Super Late Model event. Also there will be practice on Saturday afternoon February 25th.
