2006 All American Super Late Models Series Rule Amendment #1

A. Eligible Cars/Bodies

1. All competing cars will be full sized, stock American manufactured passenger car bodies. 2006 ABC RULES APPLY: Refer to A-B-C rule book and guidelines for details and dimensions for all cars. (Rule books available from AASLM, ARP, and Five Star.)
A. Eligible Bodies: 1998-2006 Grand Prix, 1998-2006 Monte Carlo, 1998-2006 Taurus/Fusion, 1998-2006 Intrepid/Charger. NO down force bodies allowed. AASLM approved bodies only.

2. Pre or Non ABC bodies will be allowed to compete with a 25LBS weight penalty. NO MIX AND MATCH. All bodies must be complete of body manufacture and meet templates and all measurements and meet approval of tech officials: Each body infraction determined by the officials will be subject to a 25 LB weight penalty.

3. NO 2003 body of any manufacture will be allowed to compete: NO front nose pieces or bumper covers or any other pieces allowed.

4. Maximum 66” tread width. 65” or less may deduct 25 LBS.

5. 6 ˝ x 60 maximum spoiler.

6. Front and rear windows must be braced to keep from deforming during racing conditions.

7. Measurements for NON ABC bodies, Any body not meeting these measurements will be subject to a weight penalty, or not competing at all.
TOTAL WEIGHT: ABC BODIES 2800 LBS: ALL OTHER 2825 LBS
LEFT SIDE PERCENTAGES: STRAIGHT RAILS 58% PERIMITER 59%

“Other Engines”
1. CRA Super Series and Sunbelt Super Series approved “Sealed Engines” may also be used. If necessary series officials may add or subtract weight to ensure fair competition. Any tampering of seals or established construction of these engines is ground for immediate disqualification. Additional tech rules will apply.

2. The crate engines as commonly used in the ASA Late Model Series may be used. If necessary, series officials may add or subtract weight to ensure fair competition. The following crate engines may be used (unaltered) at a minimum weight of 2650 LBS with no other weight breaks or deductions allowed). GM 410 horsepower crate engines—part number 88958604, Ford crate engine—part number M-6007-D347 or McGunegill Ford part number ASA 425 LM, and Dodge crate engine—part number P5007958. These engines must us a “Box Stock” 650 CFM Holley 4150 HP P/N 80541-1 with maximum 6300 rev limiting chip utilized.
