RIVERSIDE RULES WITH WEIGHT ADDED FOR OTHER TRACK"S RULES
1. Stock Autos only, except as stated!
2. Any American made car. No jeeps, 4x4, station wagons. Minimum wheel base 101”
.
All sheet metal must be stock, may make doors from sheet metal, steel only.
3. Gutting, hood, and trunk OK, homemade radiator support, aluminum radiator OK. Boxing interior OK.
Boxing interiors OK. Interior spoiler can be no higher than dash .After market nose and bumper cover legal.
May run 6”x 60” spoiler must be self supporting may not go over side of quarter panel no spill plates.
4. Fender wells may be cut for tire clearance, but not excessive.
5. Front inner fenders may be removed.
6. Fuel cell mandatory.
7. All glass and chrome must be removed.
8. Suspension must be stock. May run racing springs with non-adjustable buckets. One 2” lowering block maximum
each side. Top A-Frame can be cut. Aftermarket bushings in A- frame and trailing arms ok.
Top trailing arm may be cut for pinion angle only. Leaf spring cars may adjust perches for pinion angle.
9. Positive traction, limited slip, or locked rear ends allowed. Mini spool OK.
10. Rear shackles may be aftermarket holes must in same location both sides with no extra holes.
11. After market axles allowed for safety.
12. Automatic transmission only torque converter min. 12 “. May run transmission cooler.11in: with safety bell housing
13. 350 Engine ok in any g.m. car max. ci.362 no 400.
14. Rear end must be Chevy for Chevy, ford for ford. Any gear ratio aftermarket axles both sides ok.
15. Tires 70 series street tire. Wheels and tires max. Width 8” Bead lock right rear only. Any offsets, wheel spacers ok.
16. Engine must be in stock location.
17. Racing removable steering wheel allowed and recommended.
18. Stock rods, may change rod bolts only grinding for balancing. Any 5.7 stock appearing rod ok. (i.e. eagle SIR
,scat I-beam)
19. May remove all A/C, smog pump, and power steering.
20. Large wheel studs and lug nuts OK.
21. Hydraulic cam and lifters only max. lift 425.at valve.
22. Pistons must have a true four (4) valve relief. No two eye brow piston with marks or scratches
23 . Heads- no 461, 461X 041, 186 or 492 castings. No Vortex heads! No closed chambered heads allowed .Pin studs in heads ok .Screw in Studs ok, Guide plates ok.
24. Valve size- Maximum 1.94 intake, 1.5 Exhaust.
25. Crankshaft stock 48 lb. Min. cast 50 lb. Min. steel may balance by drilling only, no other modification.
26. Headers ok, must exit parallel to ground
27. Any timing chain, no belt or gear drives.
28. Weight- 3400lbs with driver after race.
29. Maximum .060 overbore.
30. Protest any 3 items except bottom $300.00, Bottom end $600.00 accepts fee $100.00
Track retaining $100.00.
31. Fuel: Pump gas or Turbo Blue. NO ADDITIVES
