| Dunn-Benson Ford Motorsports Forms Parts and Chassis Business, Dunn-Benson Racing Supply | Dunn, NC (January 6, 2006)- Dunn-Benson Ford Motorsports team owners Carlton and Kemp Lamm have opened a new motorsports parts and chassis business at their Ford Dealership in Dunn, NC. The new business, Dunn-Benson Racing Supply, will operate out of a 10,000 square foot building with a parts show room and fabrication shop. Kemp Lamm and Frankie Averitt will be the operations managers and oversee the day to day business. Dunn-Benson Racing Supply will provide a parts warehouse and chassis dealership for racers in the North Carolina area. Racers will be able to purchase parts and bare chassis’s to complete rolling race cars from several of the top chassis builders in the country.
“This business venture was something we have wanted to do for awhile. With our tremendous success over the last couple of years with our race team winning two National Championships, we felt like it was the right time to get the business started. Our relationship with all the manufactures has really helped us put this together in a very short time”, stated Kemp Lamm. “We are renovating this building to have a nice show room and inventory of parts that racers can walk in and pick up the same day. We will also have a fabrication shop in the back so racers can get bodies put on, repair chassis’s and assemble new cars for customers”, Kemp went on to say.
Dunn-Benson Racing Supply will be a chassis dealer for several of the top chassis builders in the country including MasterSbuilt, Rocket, Warrior, Port City, Pierce Modifieds and Shark Modifieds by Southeast Motorsports out of Callahan Florida.
