Fast Media INC Announces 2006 Late Model Series Intentions | by Bill Green, Fast Media Florida (June 16th, 2005) Fast Media INC Promotions Director, Bobby Diehl, appearing on "From Behind The MIC" Internet Radio with Bill Green & Jack Smith announced intentions to form a Fast Late Models Series division for the 2006 season. The current Fast Truck Pros and Fast Kids divisions will remain the same, with all three Fast programs visiting 6 Southeastern tracks (to Date with more to be added) in a growing 19 race schedule. We are in the final stages of developing a TV tape-delay package of the FAST Series for cable and satellite systems. The package will have a National rather than regional coverage that also includes an up-link Satellite live broadcasting of the races. This will include an aggressive pre-race sponsorship involvement package in the neighboring community at each venue. Speaking live during the Thursday, June 16th airing of the "From Behind The MIC" Internet Radio Show, and just minutes prior to the release of this official notice, Mr. Diehl made it clear that Fast Media INC has a vision. "When we set out to build a traveling program, we envisioned four divisions of vehicles participating. The forming of the Fast Late Models in 2006 is the continuation of the mission and vision of that total program concept." This newest South Eastern Late Model series will be based on the Nascar and ASA formula of crate motors and standard Limited Late Model and Super Late Model chassis. The Limited Late Models would be able to compete with the Supers, through a weight break provision and other minor adjustments in drive-train and chassis profile. Interested racers with either a Limited Late Model or Super Late Model can begin contacting Fast Media INC as early as Friday for more information, or to make an input. Mr. Diehl also let slip that several high profile Late Model driver's had been contacted for their input and their reaction. "We talked to drivers like Randy Fox famous late model driver from South Florida, Georgia late model star Jeff Gordon and Florida's well known Late Model driver and chassis builder Dave Pletcher, about the ideas and vision of the program, getting positive reactions for all. Including pledging their support and participation in 2006." Looking to build sponsorship and exposure for the racers, the tracks and the Fast Media INC events in 2006, Fast Media has launched an even more aggressive campaign toward building corporate appeal throughout the racing industry, with high visibility local and national print advertisements. Plus there will also be additional radio, TV and/or cable advertising for each event that will be in addition to the local tracks current advertising schedule. Mix all that with the repetitive nature of satellite and cable programming and you have an amazing promotional machine, that should win over fans, racers and promoters in short order.
