Goodyear Challenge Late Model 100 makes second appearance at Bronson Motor Speedway June 18th

Samsula, Fla. (June 13, 2005) The Goodyear Challenge Late Model Series will make their second appearance of the 2005 season this Saturday night, June 18th, at Bronson Motor Speedway for 100 laps of some of the greatest Late Model action around.

Going into Saturday's night race leading the points is Jerry Artuso, our Canadian racer. Artuso holds a 43 point lead over Rookie Sam Watts who set fast time at the April 9th event at Bronson. Bill Ostriker, the 2004 Rookie of the Year, goes into Saturday's race third in points with 384 points. But A.J. Curreli is not giving Ostriker much room for mistakes as he stands only two points behind Ostriker with 281 points. But watch out, Joe Winchell is right behind Ostriker with 278 points, only three points difference.

Points are very tight all the way thru tenth with Greg Kaouk with 272 points, Rich Closuer with 262 points, Chuck Burkhalter, the winner of the April 9th Bronson race, with 261 points followed by Charles Kopach with 226 points and completing the top ten is Frank Welch with 218 points.

Bronson Motor Speedway will have an open practice for all divisions on Friday night, June 17th, from 4 to 10 p.m. Secure Transporter Parking and FREE camping available to racers and race fans.

Along with the Goodyear Challenge Late Model 100 will be the Hungry Howie's Sportsman, Pure Stocks, Mini Stocks, Thunder Cars and Strictly Stock Harvey Wallbangers.

And it's FATHER'S DAY WEEKEND! The first 100 Dad's in the Grandstands will recieve a free hat! Plus We'll have a BEST DAD contest so bring Dad out to the speedway this Saturday Night and enter the Best Dad contest!

Saturday Grandstands Open at 5:30 and Racing Begins at 7:30.
