Pro Mods in Action this Weekend at Bronson Motor Speedway

Samsula, Fla. (March 15, 2005) The exciting Pro Mod Series will see their third race of the year this Saturday, March 19, at Bronson Motor Speedway. This will be the first race of the new 2005 season that the Mods will only run for 50 laps and not the 100 at Citrus or the 200 at Ocala.

Leading the points going into race three is Wayne Anderson behind the wheel of the No. 57 Open Wheel Modified. Anderson won the Citrus County Speedway race and was second in the Blue - Grey at Ocala.

Second in points is the winner of the Blue-Grey 200 lap race Dwayne Dempsey. Dempsey stands 36 points behind Anderson. Wayne Jefferson is not giving Dempsey much room for comfort as he stands only four points behind Dempsey in third.

Alan McCafferty and Kevyn Terry are tied in points for fourth and fifth place with 135 points each, only 23 points behind Jefferson. Rob Partelo stands sixth with 120 points followed by Kevin Durden and J.F. McClellan who are tied for seventh and eighth with 105 points each. Tommy Schnader and Greg Nordstrom round out the top ten and stand only one point apart with Schnader at 95 points and Nordstrom at 94.

Bronson Motor Speedway will have an open practice on Thrusday, March 17th from 4 to 8:30 p.m. On Saturday, March 19th, pit gates will open at 4 p.m., grandstands at 5:30 p.m. and racing action at 7:30 p.m. General admission is $15.00 adults, children 6 to 11 are $5.00 and 5 and under are FREE.
