FASCAR Pro Trucks head to Bronson Motor Speedway this Saturday,. March 5

Samsula, Fla. (March 1, 2005) After last weekend’s disappointment with the rainout at Desoto Super Speedway for the FASCAR Pro Trucks, this weekend, March 5, they journey to Bronson Motor Speedway hopefully with much better weather.

The FASCAR Pro Trucks are the newest series in the Team FASCAR family under the direction of Troy Snipes. Snipes, a former NASCAR official, has made the transfer to Race Director for the Pro Trucks with ease.

“Troy is definitely an asset to our team and we know that the Pro Trucks will only grow under his direction,” said Marketing Director Terry Roberts.

Since the first scheduled series race was rained out, there is no points leader in this new series but it was Jamie Skinner of Daytona who won the Winter Heat Challenge which consisted of two races at Speedfest at USA International in Lakeland and three races at New Smyrna Speedway during the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing.

Bronson Motor Speedway will have an open practice on Thursday night, March 3 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. If anyone would like to leave their hauler until Saturday, Bronson Motor Speedway has secure parking.

On Saturday, March 5, pit gates will open at 4 P.M. but haulers will be parked if they arrive early and at 4 they can sign in.

Bronson Motor Speedway is a 1/3 mile high banked asphalt speedway located in Bronson Florida. The newly remodeled and updated stock car track is situated 15 miles Southwest of Gainesville, Florida and is 20 minutes off Interstate 75.
