The series will appear at Charlotte County Speedway, Auburndale Speedway and Citrus County Speedway and will venture to Albany Speedway and Watermelon Capital Speedway in Georgia. " We are going to work very hard to return the FASTRUCK Series to the premier truck series it had been. We want to make this series fair, consistent and professional but most of all fun again" stated director of racing Rick Bristol. " The series has a bunch of great drivers that put on a lot of great shows, some of the fun had gone but we want to bring it back" added Bristol. Once again the series will have 8-10 races taped for television by Dragon Lake Productions and will appear on Sun sports and this year the Men's channel. The championship points battle will pay a minimum of $2500 to the 2005 series champion, $1800 for second and $1200 for third. The rest of the points payoff will be based on amount of trucks, races and other sponsors or contingencies. The drivers competing in at least 75% of the race will be eligible. We are excited about the officials Rick has put together, I know that the drivers will be treated fair and professional. We are working very hard to keep everything moving in a positive direction and look forward to the opening weekend and the season" said series director Billy Barstow.
