It is Time to Go Racin - New Smyrna Style

Ok fans, it is countdown time. Only a few short days remain until the 39th Annual World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing opens at New Smyrna Speedway. This year pre-entry list shows that this is going to be “one big show”.for the fans. Some old favorites may be missing but you may find a new favorite among the listed pre-entries.

Front gate opens daily at 6 p.m. but you may come in to watch practice and buy your ticket at 6. General admission is $20.00, children 11 and under FREE in the grandstands. Reserved seating available at $25.00, call 386-427-4129 for reservations. Pit Gate open daily at noon, pit gate price $25.00.

On Friday, February 11th (Opening Night) which is Volusia Pennysaver Night you will see Super Late Models, Late Models, NASCAR Tour Type/SK Mods, Mini Stocks and Strictly Stocks. Qualifying for the Super Late Models, Late Models, Mini Stock and NASCAR Tour Type/SK Mods will be at 3:00 p.m. Heats and features will be run for all with racing action at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, February 12th which is Bright House Networks Night, you will see Super Late Models, Late Models, NASCAR Tour Type/SK Mods, Mini Stock and Super Stock. Qualifying for the Super Late Models and NASCAR Tour Type/SK Mods will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, February 13th, the NASCAR Tour Type/SK Mods will have the night off as the TBARA Outlaw Winged Sprints take center stage for the first of a two night appearance.
Along with the TBARA Sprints will be the Super Late Models, Late Models, Mini Stock and Thunder Roadsters. Qualifying for the Super Late Models will be at 4 p.m.

Monday, February 14th (REMEMBER YOUR SWEETHEART DAY - VALENTINE'S DAY) is Advance Discount Auto Parts Night with the TBARA Outlaw Winged Sprints, NASCAR Tour Type/SK Mods, FL/IMCA Modifieds, Late Models, Mini Stock and Thunder Roadsters. The Late Models will go for 50 laps with qualifying for the NASCAR Tour Type/SK Mods and Late Models at 4 p.m.

Tuesday, February 15th, is the New Smyrna Chrysler Dodge Jeep Chevrolet Night with Jimmy Spencer and Ted Musgrove showcasing Super Late Models, Late Models, NASCAR Tour Type/SK Mods, Mini Stock and a 50 lap FL/IMCA Modified race. Qualifying for the Super Late Models, NASCAR Tour Type/SK Mods, and FL/IMCA Modifieds will begin at 4 p.m.

Wednesday, February 16th, is Coca Cola “Full Throttle Night” with Super Late Models, Late Models, NASCAR Tour Type/SK Mods, FL/IMCA Mods, and Sportsman. The NASCAR Tour Type/SK Mods will run for 50 laps with qualifying for the NASCAR Tour Type/SK Mods, Super Late Models and Sportsman at 4 p.m.

Thursday, February 17th, it is Southeast Volusia Chamber Night with Super Late Models, Late Models, NASCAR Tour Type/SK Mods, FL/IMCA Mods, Sportsman and the FASCAR Pro Trucks and Quick Kids. The Super Late Models will go for 50 laps with qualifying for the Super Late Models, NASCAR Tour Type/SK Mods and Pro Trucks and Quick Kids at 4 p.m.

Friday, February 18th, it is Daytona Beach News Journal Night with Super Late Models, Late Models, NASCAR Tour Type/SK Mods, FL/IMCA Mods, Sportsman and Pro Trucks. Qualifying for the 'RITCHIE EVANS MEMORIAL 100” for the NASCAR Tour Type/SK Mods, Super Lates and Pro Trucks will be at 4 p.m.

Saturday, February 19th, it is Mid Florida Cellular Night with Super Late Models, Late Models, NASCAR Tour Type/SK Mods, Pro Trucks, FL/IMCA Mods, and Super Stock. Qualifying for the FLORIDA 100 SUPER LATE MODEL, NASCAR Tour Type/SK Mods, and Pro Trucks will be at 4 p.m.
