| Green Flag Driving Experience will call Orlando SpeedWorld Florida Home during Legends Winternationals 2/14 thru 2/19 | The Green Flag Driving Experience, which has made it possible for hundreds of race fans to live out their dream of driving an open cockpit Midget racecar, a Legend Car or a Modified stock car during the last three seasons, has found a home in Florida at Orlando SpeedWorld from February 14 thru 19th, 2005.
To celebrate its migration south from its Wall Township (N.J.) Speedway home base, the Green Flag Driving Experience is offering a special discount rate for those who take advantage of the oportunity before February 10, 2005.
Accepting most major credit cars, special pricing of just $149 and $249, depending on the type of car, for an individual driving experience is being offered. The certificates can not only be used at Orlando SpeedWorld from February 14 thru 19th, but can also be used any time during the 2005 season at Wall Townshiyp Speedway.
We visited the Orlando SpeedWorld when we were in Florida with the driving experience last February and fell in love with the place. Jeff Gravatt, Green Flag Driving Experience operations manager said, "the wide semi-banked three-eights mile paved oval is super fast and all the cars that competed during the Legends Winternationals put on a great show. Since we use Legend Cars, Midgets and Modifieds in our program, the track is perfect.
The Legend Cars Winternationals is every night from February 14 thru the 19th and is a great show. The Thunder Roadsters, Baby Grands, Bandoleros and Mini Cups are also on many of those programs.
We'll be at the track every day to give race fans the experience of getting behind the wheel. Then we'll be back every evening to enjoy the races.
Participants in the Green Flag Driving Experience drive real racecars that are used in competition on a regular basis. Driving uniforms, helmets and other safety equipment are supplied. In addition to 15-laps of track time, students receive racecar technology, safety and driving instruction. Several feature winning and championship winning drivers, like Midget champion Tim Adams, Modified standout and Legend Cars champion Frank Polimeda, serve as instructors.
