Halloween "Trick or Treat" Enduro 150 Highlights Citrus Saturday

(Inverness, Fl. 10/27/04) The long awaited Citrus County Speedway Enduro 150 has finally arrived and Halloween night is certainly the time to have this knock down, drag out winner take all endurance race. Drivers and fans have been preparing for this one for months and it is going to be one of those full moon nights of wild action that will have a big payoff for the winning survivor. Local favorites who have made a habit of winning these big money races are Robert Ray and most recent Ocala winner Herb Neumann Jr. have been making preparations for this one. Quite a few other former winners or front runners from throughout the state have pre-registered and there will be some late arrivals just before race time. It should be something else for the fans.

Saturday night will also be the final night for the point championships in the Super Stock division, wrapping up their season with a 50 lap special. The Hobby Stock championship will be decided in their 20 lap main event between Bobby Taylor and Tommy Smith which should be a shoot out right to the checkered flag. Mini Stocks, Thunder Stocks and 4 Cylinder Bombers will also go in regular feature races for their final points night as well.

The Modifieds are scheduled to make a 30 lap run chasing Billy Bechtelheimer for their season finale. Four time winner Harold Cannon has a shot at Billy’s crown and this too could come down to the final checkered flag for the Mod squad.

Mini Cup cars make their final appearance of the year Saturday night to round out one action packed night topped off with the kids Trick or Treating the drivers during intermission. So bring the family and tell the kids to bring a big bag for all the candy that the drivers will be handing out as a salute to the fans and the kids for their support as they wind up the 49th season of championship stock car racing at the Action Attraction, Citrus County Speedway.

Next week will see the return of the 2nd leg of the Super Late Model “Triple Crown 125” featuring the states very best hot shoes in quest of the Governors Cup Championship.
