C.A.R.S. Motorsports announces race car show and food drive! | C.A.R.S. Motorsports Orlando FL. - Team owner Rick Bristol announced that his race team and team sponsor Giovanni's Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria will hold a Race Car Show and Food Drive to benefit the 2nd Harvest Food Bank. Saturday, November 6th from 10a.m. - 3p.m. at the corner of Hoffner Rd. and Conway Rd. in the Publix Shopping Center. " We are excited about this event, we wanted to help a charity for the holidays and with all the recent hurricane relief this came to mind as the holidays draw near" said Bristol. "We are asking area race car drivers to bring there cars and a donation of nonperishable food items. We will box them up and the 2nd Harvest Food Bank will pick it all up" he added. We will have a great time of fun and bench racing and give away some prizes as well. My great sponsor Giovanni's will be having Pizza and other great specials for lunch that day, the food is great" exclaimed Bristol. "We invite all the area fans and drivers to come by and drop off a donation to make sure everyone that needs food for the holidays will get help". " I am excited to be a part of this race team, and I am glad to be able to help in this Food Drive to help others. Rick has always had a charity event to help kids and now this, he uses racing to help others and I am glad to just be a part" said driver RJ Arnone. " We have a great sponsor who has been involved in having things for all the racers to be a part of, like the race night buffet and now this event. They will also be having a Championship Race Night Buffet to honor area champions." added Arnone.
