Sean Bass concludes great weekend with FASTRUCK Series Win | Rick Bristol / C.A.R.S. Racer Marketing June 26th - Orlando FL. - Young gun Sean Bass posted a runner up Mini-stock finish at Orlando Speedworld Friday night. He then dominated the 50 Lap Fastruck Series main event Saturday night at New Smyrna Speedway. Bass would have a good night Friday at Orlando by posting a second place finish and by adding distance in his second place points position. Bass drove his father prepared JRE Race Engines, Linda's Charm Bracelet, Speed Pros Ford and on double points night had a solid run. That would set the stage for Saturday night action as Bass would be in action in the Jeff Moyer owned, Pleasant Acres, REW Landscaping Dodge Ram. Bass would show he was good in practice as he consistently turned the best laps and backed that up by setting fast time out of the 33 trucks in attendance at the 1/2 mile speedplant. Bass would draw a 10 for inversion and would start from outside row 5. He made quick work of many using the outside lane and by lap 8 was leading the field. He would build a commanding lead each time only to see a caution draw the field back to him. The Dodge and Bass were up to the task and would really never be challenged during the 50 lap main event. Bass now takes over the fourth spot in the points and is only 13 points out of first. " Rick I can't tell you how good this truck was, I was just the lucky one who got to wheel it tonight. I made sure the crew wrote down every minute detail of the set up tonight for when we come back again. I even asked them to write down where the dirt is. I have to thank Jeff Moyer for allowing me to drive this great truck and to the crew and my dad for working so hard to give me a great truck. It was great to get this win in front of many friends, family and fans here at New Smyrna, I love racing here and at Orlando." said Bass. " What a great night, Sean drove a great race and deserves this win. I am excited about this race team we have and look forward to some more of these nights" said owner Jeff Moyer. Bass and his race teams will take this next weekend off and prepare for the next battle. Have an opinion on this story? Post a message on our Message Board! or send a letter to the editor!
