McClelland followed by Kevin Durden in fourth and Alan McCafferty in fifth. Rounding out the top ten are Mike Johnson, John Gerstner, Jeremy Gerstner, Jerry Artuso and Harold Cannon.
"There will be plenty of open wheel action for all the fans," said track promoter/general manager Don Nerone who won't be there Saturday due to the Sunbelt Super Late Model Series race at Bronson Motor Speedway. "We are expecting a nice field of cars and any number of the drivers could take home the victory."
Qualifying for the Penske Racing Shocks United Pro Modified race will be at 6:30 p.m. with racing action at 7:30 p.m.
Leading the Late Model points going into Saturday night's event is Charlie Merz. Ever since Steve Park won the Big Brothers/Big Sisters/Victory Junction race back in Janaury in Merz's No. 7 Late Model, Merz has been on a roll. Tied for first with Merz is Josh Schmidt. Troy Atkins comes in third followed by Michael Williams and Mike Murphy who both won the two first events in Murphy's Late Model.
Donny Williams leads the points in the Sportsman division with one win and one second place. Williams, who was the 2002 Sportsman Champion at New Smyrna, has proven that he can still get the job done. Ken Lewton, Joe Gerard, Dale Clouser and Ron Lufcy round out the top five.
Jeff Colburn leads the Super Stock division by four points over Jack Lenzen. Ron Whaley sits in third followed by Barry Parks and Rick Johns. These guys shell out plenty of hot action every Saturday night and you never know who will visit Victory Lane.
