The USA Sprints Southern Thunder Returns to Orange County Raceway | The USA Sprints return to Orange County Raceway in Bithlo Florida this Saturday Night March 27th for thier second appearance of the 2004 Southern Thunder Tour Season.The 2004 Winternationals Champion "Tiny" Tim George from Venice will be on hand as well as current point leader Andy "Hammer Down" Kelly.Kelly who is always a top- threat and is coming off his Winernationals Win back on Feb 21 will again be driving the Staggs Tree Service,Kelly Trucking Gambler.Andy was the East Bay Raceway Park Track Champ back in 1999.George driving the 2003 Venice Wrecker Shaw Chassis Racing Sprinter Won the East Bay Track Championships in ,2000,2001 and 2003 as well as the Winternationals Championship in 2003.
Tim and Andy are well known for having what it takes to Win Championships and will certainly contend this year for the coveted USA Sprints Southern Thunder Tour Title.USA Sprints has become a All Star Series for Limited Sprints in Florida and is now outreaching to other States that include Drivers who have Won Hundreds of Races and Dozens of Championships in all forms of Motorsports.
One prime example is "The Loxahatchie Outlaw" Dean Bartholomew fresh off his surprise Win @ Thundercross will make his first attempt at the tricky OCS tight 1/4 mile oval this weekend as well.David "Skeeter" Kelly who was the 2003 Thundercross Track Champion will again make his bid for his first Win of 2004.The reigning 2003 USA Sprints Champion Shane "WestCoast Flash" Kreidler has relatively been unheard of this Year due to Family committments.Kreidler is expected to make his 2nd appearance this year and will certainly make an impact.
Danny "The Missle" Martin who has been running regularly with TBARA Pavement Series and USCS 360 Sprints will be on hand too to again challenge the USA Sprints for his first ever Win.Other USA notables that could very easily Win thier first Race of 2004 are Mike "Hollywood" Schroeder,John Cickota,RC Roper,Bruce Durden.Hendry County Speedway Winners Bob "Thunderfoot" Schaeffer in his # 22 Budweiser Car from Colorado and Ron "Happy" Armstrong's Pennzoil Sponsored Gambler will certainly have a say as history could prove to thier advantage.
