| Corteco/Gulfcoast Modified Series names Associate Sponsors | by Rick Warren
Gary Robertson, marketing director for the Corteco / GulfCoast Modified Series, announced today that the series had entered into marketing partnerships with five companies that will be Associate Sponsors for the 2004 season.
Robertson stated “We in the series are very pleased and proud to be working with these companies. All of the businesses involved have a strong alliance with racing, and especially short track racing in Florida. We know that with the addition of these great sponsors will have very positive impact for all involved in this series.”
The sponsors named were Eagles Nest Racing Products, Sponsor of the Hard Charger Award, which will be worth $200 at each race. Eagles Nest sells racing equipment and parts of all types, and is a 5 Star Body Distributor.
Race Place will be the sponsor of the Rookie of the year award, worth $1000 at the end of the season. Race Place sells professional racing parts and ships Goodyear tires every weekday.
Southern Style Racing Engines has agreed to sponsor the Fast Qualifier Award, which will be worth $200 at each race. Southern Style offers complete machine shop service, and builds racing engines for all divisions. They are also a provider of GulfCoast spec. Engines.
CSI Motor Sports Designs has been named as the official Graphics designer and graphics supplier for the series. CSI has been in business in Pinellas County for over 25 years, providing Custom hand lettering, vinyl cut and inkjet graphics for race cars, fleet applications and signs and banners.
Sunoco has been named as the official Racing Fuel of the Corteco / GulfCoast Modified Series, and is distributed by long time race supporters Bearden Oils and Southern Racing Fuels.
Goodyear will be the Official Racing tire of the Series. The quality of Goodyear tires, and the ability to provide a consistent supply, will be a definite asset to the racers in the series.
With the first race of the series quickly approaching, on March 20 at Bronson Motor Speedway, the excitement level is rising, and the addition of these great sponsors to an already successful series has added to that level. We look forward to seeing a great group of race fans this year, and can’t wait to get started.
