Tommy King and his P&H Mining race team set to defend the title! | Rick Bristol Orlando Fl. - Defending FASTRUCK series champion and rookie of the year Tommy King is set to defend his title as the series opens March 27th at the USA International Speedway in Lakeland. This event will be in conjunction with the season opener of the exciting ASA series.
Tommy has signed once again sponsorship backing from the P&H Mining equipment folks a relationship that has lasted 6 years with the Milwaukee based company.
King has several returning sponsors and some new ones as well. Bob Elliott's Greenwood Chevrolet of Fort Meade will once again supply the ZZ4 engine that powered King to last years title.
King's #16 Chevy Silverado will also have help from Hawk Brakes,Mothers Car Wax, Suspension Spring Specialists,Racermate Alternators and Wiggins Construction.
Newly formed C.A.R.S. Motorsports and Racer Marketing will handle the press and marketing for King Motorsports and they will also have a new website www.tommyking.net where you can go to see all the latest developments of the race team and you can purchase a #16 Dicast truck in 1/24 scale made by Racing Champions. The trucks are individually numbered and autographed.
As Tommy heads into the 2004 season he can't help but have his mind on the future as his PR man Shawn Cannon is leading the efforts to obtain sponsorship for a 2005 run in the Hooters Pro Cup series.
