Rich Clouser 2004 World Series Late Model Champion

Orlando FL. - The 2003 Goodyear Challenge Series Rookie of the Year came to the 38th Annual World Series with a purpose and that was to capture the prestigious week long championship.

The final night of racing action fell victim to mother nature, but Clouser had led from the very first night and was in great position to control his own destiny, and did.

Clouser drove the potent Bobby Sears owned ride to 1 win and 7 top 5 finishes. That consistency led him to the point lead and he held it all throughout the series.

Clouser who has quickly become one of Florida's top Late Model chauffeurs has a bright 2004 ahead of him. He and his team are working well together and will chase the same Goodyear Challenge Series that eluded them in the last event of 2003.

"Rich is one of the smoothest yet aggressive drivers I have watched in a lone time" said car owner Bobby Sears. "He did such a great job last year for us and really wanted the World Series title, he deserves it" added Sears.

"I want to thank Bobby Sears for giving me this opportunity, he gives great cars each time out, we chased it a bit but the car was solid each night" said Clouser.

"Thanks to the crew and my family for the support this week it was a long hard week but boy is this worth it now".

Clouser will take home a $1,000.00 bonus from %R truck and trailer plus the regular track points money and several great contingency awards.

Clouser will begin to prepare for the 2004 season and the chase for another championship.

"Rich did a great job this week and is an impressive young driver. I look to see more of him in the future" said Circle Track Magazine writer Larry Jewitt. "It was a great series as Rich finished 16 points up on Tim Russell and Jason Boyd would finish 40 points back in third in the final points" added Jewitt.
