Gulfcoast Triple Classic Heading To Charlotte County Speedway | Wayne Bowman won the first of the Gulfcoast Triple Classic for Open Wheel Modifieds back on Sept. 13 at Sunshine Speedway. There are two more gruelling tests remaining: Oct. 25 at Charlotte County Speedway and Nov. 9 at Bronson Motor Speedway. Not only will racers will paid by race, but there is a point fund for those who do the best over the three races. In addition, there will be prizes awarded to the top 10 in Triple Classic points. The Sunshine race was a 50-lapper paying $1,000 to Ralph Bowman, a Sunshine regular.
The race coming up at Charlotte County Speedway on Saturday, Oct. 25 will be a 75-lapper paying $1,500 to win. Also on the schedule that night at CCS in Punta Gorda will be a Florida Pro Late Model 125 lapper and Sportsman. Qualifying will begin at 6:30 p.m. and racing will start at 7p.m. Adult admission is $15 for this special night of racing.
The Gulfcoast Triple Crown Open Wheel Modified finale will be a 100-lapper paying $2,000 to win at Bronson.
