| East Bay Raceway Park Announces Mr. BUD Championships for All Classes | by Bill Green “From Behind The MIC”
Tampa, FL. (Sep. 20th, 2003) East Bay Raceway Park announced the return of the End-of-Year, Mr. Bud Track Championships. Along with primary sponsors, Budweiser and Hoosier Racing Tires, East Bay Raceway Park owners were proud to announce the return of the annual Mr. Bud Championships.
“The racers really seem to respond to this annual individual class program,” stated Al Varnadore, East Bay President. “We love to do good things for the racers and this allows someone to lay claim to the Mr. Bud Trophy for another year.”
Starting on September 27th and going through the end of the year, each night a different class will vie for the coveted Mr. Budweiser Championship Jacket, Trophy and the extra cash. The following schedule will remain flexible; yet allow each racer to plan for their special weekend event.
SEPTEMBER 27th … Mini-Stock Mr. Bud Championship ……….… 25-Laps … $500 to WIN
OCTOBER 4th …….. Limited Sprints Mr. Bud Championship …...… 20-Laps … $500 to WIN
OCTOBER 11th …… Street Stocks Mr. Bud Championship ……...… 25-Laps … $500 to WIN
OCTOBER 18th …… Gagel Auto Parts Open Wheel Modified
Mr. Bud Championship .…..….. 25-Laps … $1000 to WIN
OCTOBER 25th …… Limited Late Model Mr. Bud Championship … 25-Laps … $1000 to WIN
NOVEMBER 8th ….. 360 Sprint Car Mr. Bud Championship ………. 25-Laps … $1600 to WIN
NOVEMBER 15th … Late Model Mr. Bud Championship ………….. 30-Laps … $1600 to WIN
Note, to be eligible in each class a driver must have driven a minimum of 5 nights at Easy Bay Raceway Park in the class they wish to participate in the Mr. Bud Championship.
