CRASH-A-RAMA Time this Friday at SpeedWorld | by Jane Smith
Bithlo, Fla (June 4, 2003) The first of two CRASH-A-RAMA shows will be happening this Friday night at Orlando SpeedWorld. With normally "standing room only" crowds, this is truly one of the big events of the year for fans.
CRASH-A-RAMA has become so big here in Florida that Chuck Rush and Don Narone have taken it on the road. Last year they traveled to Indiana where a sold out event had to turn away fans because they just ran out of room. This year, on June 14, CRASH-A-RAMA will move to Holland, New York
Expect to see some pretty wild racing when you go to a CRASH-A-RAMA show. The show goes on no matter rain or shine and rain makes it even better. There will be a $1000 to win School Bus Figure8 race, a Powder Puff Figure 8 School Bus race with real school bus drivers, boat/trailer race, chain races, a $750 to win compact derby, a $1000 to win V-i modified derby, and a $1500 to win RUN WHAT YOU BRUNG (No Trucks) OUTLAW derby. Plus a few added surprises that will be surprises.
Grandstands will open at 5 p.m. this Friday only for the large crowd expected at Orlando SpeedWorld. Racing action will begin at 8 p.m.
Regular racing will return to Orlando SpeedWorld on June 13 when the 911 Racing Series comes to SpeedWorld. There will be a special 50 lap Sportsman race also plus Super Lates, Open Wheel Modifieds, Mini Stocks and Strictly Stocks. The Super Stocks will have the night off.
Orlando SpeedWorld is located between the intersection of SR50 and SR520 in Bithlo, Florida. Be sure to bring your cameras and video recorders, this is something you will want to remember!!!!
