Rick Bristol announces C.A.R.S. Motorsports Car for Sale | Orlando Fl. - After 4 seasons, 20 wins, 40 top 5, 18 top 10 finishes and a championship, team owner Rick Bristol has put the car and racing equipment up for sale.
"The Lord has blessed me so much over the years with great success and a lot of fun" says Bristol." I have had the opportunity to win races and a championship in a pretty short period of time with some great friends".
Bristol started his team in 1999 after purchasing a car and redoing it while working for Pete Orr at Racecar Engineering. Rick would drive the car the first few races but soon hired long time friend Carl Green to drive for him. Green would help bring the team some consistency with 3 wins 8 top 5 and 6 top 10 finishes. He would drive the car thru the 2000 season.
Then Rick brought in rookie Bobby Orr. Working with his good friend Pete Orr , Bristol gave the young racer what he needed to compete. Orr in his first start grabbed a top finish and things only got better from there. In his first year 2 wins, 8 top 5's and 5 top 10 finishes netted him 7th in the points and the most improved driver award. Orr would come back in 2002 and with 11 wins, 18 top 5 and 5 top 10 finishes he took the 2002 Track Championship and was the rookie of the year.
Other drivers that have driven the car include Brad May and Chad Pierce. Pierce gave Bristol his last win just weeks ago. " That is one of the best handling cars I have ever driven, I had a blast" said Pierce after the race. " I had a great time driving for Rick and his family, he gave me the opportunity to win each week and capture a championship and he is a long time friend of the family" added Orr.
The car is a well built, well equipped car and is a winner. If you are interested in a winning car call Rick at 407-497-0448 cell or 407-282-4705 home. "I look forward to seeing someone take this car and do well with it" said Bristol. For a complete list of what is in the car and what else the team has for sale call Rick today.
