Brazil Grabs Points Lead at Eastbay Raceway, Driver Injured in Freak Accident

Tampa Bay, Florida - May 2003 - Tampa's Larry "Buzz" Brazil, Jr. a third generation sprint car pilot with top five
finishes in every wingless sprint feature this year, has taken the points lead at Tampa Bay's East Bay Raceway Park

Buzz, a University of South Florida Engineering scholar, driving the Baez #21 Gambler Sprint Car, hung tough and true to the team's principle: To finish first, first you must finish.

One sprint car driver was Injured in a freak accident, when he stuck his arm out of the cockpit, and it was stuck by another competitor. The driver was hospitalized with a broken arm. Remember, keep your arms and heads inside of the car and do attempt to exit the ride until it comes to a complete stop.
