Bithlo, Fla (April 15, 2003) Even though the first two weeks of the 2003 racing season were rained out at Orlando SpeedWorld, this weekend marks the sixth week of race season. Points are tight but with double points up for grabs this weekend, the pressure is on for the racers.
Ronnie Roach is only four points ahead of B.J. McLeod in the Super Late Model division. Roach, who won the first race of the year and came in second in the next race has 76 points. McLeod also has one win and one third place with 72 points.
Rusty Ebersole stands in third with 68 points followed by Jared Allison with 44 points. Fifth is tied between Chad Pierce and Jim Matthews with each having 32 points. With points this close, double points will definitely be in all their eyes.
