MONSTER TRUCKS, X-TREME CYCLES AT CCS APRIL 4-6 | PUNTA GORDA, Fla. -- Charlotte County Speedway is calling off its regularly scheduled stock car racing program on Saturday night, April 5, so that the X-Treme Thunder Jam can take its place.
The X-Treme Thunder Jam encompasses three days of monster trucks and extreme motorcycle competition at Charlotte County Speedway.
The shows on Friday, April 4, and Saturday, April 5, are at night. Gates open at 6 p.m. and programs begin at 8 p.m. On Sunday, April 6, the gates will open at 1 p.m. and the show will start at 2:30 p.m.
Monster trucks scheduled to mud race include Bear Foot, Monster Patrol, Incinerator, Rage N Rebel and Prime Time.
Children can get a free monster truck ride if they donate five or more non-perishable food items at the gate. It is part of the monster trucks? Crush Hunger Drive.
X-treme bikes will compete. It will be Team Florida against Team Georgia on double ramps and double hills. Also competing will be X Games queen Heather Williams.
The WWE?s Jerry ?King? Lawlor will make an appearance.
