B.J. McLeod Withdraws From All American Challenge Series | Super Late Model Driver B.J. McLeod has withdrawn from the All American Challenge Series which races exclusively at DeSoto Speedway in Bradenton, Florida.
The nineteen year racer from Wauchula, Florida is leaving the series citing concerns about safety, according to a McLeod Motorsports team spokesperson.
Last year McLeod raced the entire AACS schedule and finished near the top in the overall points standings.
We spoke with team owner Darwin McLeod today who said "we really would like to thank all the fans who have supported B.J. at DeSoto but it is time to move on", he continued "the fans have been great there but we have to think about the safety issues".
B.J, McLeod will return to Orlando Speedworld and New Smyrna Speedway, tracks where he won championships several years ago. The team is also expected to compete in the FASCAR Sunbelt Super Late Model Series at USA International Speedway on April 12 and also plans on making the trip to Nashville later in the year.
