Orr takes first career Late Model Win on Opening Night at NSS

Orlando Fl. - Young second generation star Bobby Orr in only his 6th Late Model start grabbed his first career win Saturday night at New Smyrna Speedway.

Orr who would ,by draw, start from the pole led every lap to take the popular win. Orr who drives a car formally owned by Mike Murphy now owned by Bobby McClelland has veteran crew cheif Eddie Norman on board. He had some great help saturday from Justin Drawdy and his team as well.

"Thanks so much to Justin and the guys for all the help and Gary Kohler and Eddie for their help, Wow, what a great night" said Orr. "Also thanks to my mom for her continued support, Remax and Penske race shocks. I am looking forward to this year".

Orr plans to chase the Late Model track championship at New Smyrna as well as making a few big Late Model show starts. He will also drive on Fridays at Orlando Speedworld in Rick Bristol's Mini-stock in a semi regular schedule.

Orr's win on opening night has him as the points leader. He was the 2002 Mini-stock track champion at Orlando SpeedWorld.
