Billy Bigley And The Winston Cup

Billy Bigley, Jr. has been inching closer to that big shot at the Big Tent called Winston Cup racing.

We spoke with Bigley Saturday night at Charlotte County Speedway where he was racing in the 100 lap Late Model feature driving the number 95 of Richie Anderson.

"We have the cars, the equipment and everything in place", Bigley said and went on to explain the team was waiting to tie down some loose ends with the sponsorship deal and that an announcement would be soon.

Bigley finished in the third spot in the 100 lap race, having to some from the rear of the field after a scrape with another car coming off turn four early on.

Billy Bigley, Jr. of Naples, Florida has been racing all around Florida in Late Models since the early 1980s, getting his start at the old Collier County Speedway. He has had success in the Craftsman Truck Series, won the Florida Governor's Cup, Hooters LM Championship to mention a few of his accomplishments.
