Miami offers Sports Cars, Indy Cars & affordable tickets

MIAMI, Fla. (Feb. 20, 2003) - Racing fever has hit South Florida with the anticipation of the Rolex Sports Car Series, IRL IndyCar Series and IRL Infinity Pro Series heading to Miami next weekend for Nextel Grand Prix of Miami and Toyota Indy 300, February 28 - March 2. With ticket prices starting at only $10 and children 12 and under admitted free most days, it's affordable for the entire family to enjoy the racing excitement.

The action hits the track on Friday, February 28, with Rolex Series qualifying for the Nextel Grand Prix of Miami, as well as IndyCar practice. General admission on Friday is only $10 and children 12 and under are admitted free with a paying adult.

The Rolex Series and its new Daytona Prototypes will take center stage on Saturday, March 1, with the green flag scheduled to fall on the Nextel Grand Prix of Miami at 3 p.m. However, race fans should plan on getting to Homestead-Miami Speedway early so not to miss the top IndyCar drivers battling it out for the Toyota Indy 300 pole during qualifying at 1:30 p.m.

Tickets for all of Saturday's action are $20 for general admission and children 12 and under are admitted free with a paying adult.

For fans that want to get up close and personal with the race teams and their powerful race cars, Homestead-Miami Speedway offers a three-day paddock pass for $25. Fans wanting to enjoy all three days of racing at Homestead-Miami Speedway will want to take advantage of the three-day package for $75, which includes general admission tickets for Friday and Saturday, a reserved seat for Sunday's races and a three-day paddock pass.

Homestead-Miami Speedway also offers race fans reserved seating for Sunday's events, weekend RV passes and much more.

Tickets for next weekend's Nextel Grand Prix of Miami and Toyota Indy 300 are available on the Speedway's official website at www.homesteadmiamispeedway.com or by calling the Speedway ticket office at 305-230-RACE (7223).
