Sebring Advance Purchase Ticket Deadline March 1

Sebring, FL ö As the 51st Annual Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring approaches, time is running out for fans to purchase tickets at special advance prices.

Advance purchase ticket prices will remain in effect until March 1. After that date gate prices will apply. To order tickets, race fans can call 800-626-7223.

Gates open on Wednesday, March 12 for the prestigious American Le Mans Series season-opener, and remain open 24 hours a day through the running of the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring on Saturday, March 15.

The 64-car entry has caused many motorsports historians to raise the possibility this could be the finest Sebring field in the 50-year history of the event.

"Although it can be difficult to compare different eras," stated Raceway President and GM Tres Stephenson, "the entry this year clearly reflects the finest in 35 years in terms of quality and depth. From top to bottom in each class we have world-class entries."

Headlining the Sebring entry is Team Bentley, make its North American debut. Defending champion Audi will be represented with three entries, while Panoz, Lola, Riley & Scott, Lister and several other makes hope to challenge. The GT classes are equally competitive, with Corvette, Ferrari, Porsche and several other makes entered.

Sebring will also feature six supporting events, a special display of historic competition Corvettes and the popular Hawaiian Tropic Spring Brake Party Zone.
