Eric Beers Heading to World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing

Northampton, PA. . . . . . Northampton, PA NASCAR Driver, Eric Beers and the Horwith Racing Sunoco Race Fuels #19 NASCAR Modified Team is heading to New Smyrna Speedway, New Smyrna FL - to compete in the 15th annual World Series of Asphalt Racing. The Speedway is 10 miles south of Daytona and provides to the most Exciting racing action of Speedweeks.

In the past 8 years Eric has won several events during Speedweeks and has finished 2nd in the overall points standings. This year the team is heading down to compete in the big nights of racing. The team will compete on Wednesday, Feb 12 - 50 Laps, Thursday, Feb 13 - 25 laps and Friday, Feb 14 - 100 laps. The team is optimistic coming off winning 2 races at New Smyrna in 2002.
