MIAMI, Fla. (Feb. 6, 2003) - Homestead-Miami Speedway will host the season-opening race of the 2003 Championship Cup Series of Florida Motorcycle Road Racing, Feb. 8-9. Practice and time trials on the Speedway's road course are set for Saturday and 20 sprint races (six laps each) are scheduled for Sunday.
WHAT: Championship Cup Series of Florida Motorcycle Road Racing.
WHEN: Saturday, February 8 and Sunday, Feb. 9.
WHERE: Homestead-Miami Speedway Road Course.
WHO: Over 400 motorcycle racers from Florida and throughout the United States including Darren Luck from Bonita Springs, Fla., 2002 Championship Cup Series Expert Overall Champion.
TICKETS: Includes access to paddock area and free parking. Every child under the age of 12 is admitted free of charge.
Saturday, Feb. 8: $10 Sunday, Feb. 9: $15 Two-day pass: $20

Saturday, Feb. 8 8 a.m.: Gates open 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.: Practice and time trials
Sunday, Feb. 9 7 a.m.: Gates open 8 - 9 a.m.: Practice 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.: GT races 12 m - 5 p.m.: Sprint races
