February 6

Brandon Kinzer Heads to Florida

Brandon Kinzer travels to Volusia, Florida on Thursday, February 6 as part of the Florida´s Speedweeks.

Next week, United Midwest Promotions (UMP) will host six nights of racing at the Volusia County Speedway. Races will run Monday, February 10 thru Saturday, February 15 with $5,000 to win thru Friday and $10,000 on Saturday. The Kinzer team will arrive Friday evening and spend the weekend preparing for a successful week of racing.

During the winter break the team at Brandon Kinzer Motorsports kept themselves busy rebuilding their equipment. In 2003, they are hoping to take their Ernie Elliott powered GRT Late Models to 36 feature starts. The current schedule includes 24 Southern All-Star (SAS) sanctioned events, and 10-12 others at Eldora and Thunder Ridge.

After Volusia, Kinzer will trek over to Glencoe, Alabama for a SAS event at Green Valley February 22-23. Though this will be his first time at the track, Brandon hopes that the practice session on the 21st will be enough to take the victory.
