Saturday, today, there is a pancake breakfast from 9 to 11 am with a Racers Swap Meet from 11 to 2 pm. Vendors are already out in the grandstand parking area setting up for today's swap meet and it looks to be a really good one.
Last night it was Tony Laporta taking both 4 Cylinder Challengers wins going home with a nice amount of change. Each race paid $250.00 to win. Donnie Nobles took home the $500 purse for the Thunder Stocks. But it was not an easy win as Nobles had to fight off Randy Strehle for most of the race. Story and results will be in the Saturday, October 10th story.
Join us today as we welcome the Late Models for $2500 to win. More Modifieds, Sportsman, and Street Stocks are expected. Many of the Street Stocks ran at Ocala Speedway last night in the Hobby Stock division and with $1000 on the line, expect to see a large number of Street Stocks. Sportsman and Modifieds will go for $1500 to win tonight and they also will come out of the woodwork for that purse.
