By Tom Blakeley
April 18, 2009, Bradenton FL Bill Davis makes his return to Desoto Super Speedway tonight in the #15 Open Wheel Modified car. Bill has won many championships at Desoto and other tracks in Florida. In 1996 he won the Modified Championship at Desoto. A huge year for Bill was 2002 in which he won three championships including the Modified Cars, Trucks, and SAMS Truck traveling series. Today Bill is teamed up with ARCA Champ and Craftsman Truck Series participant Mario Gosslin who was in the pits tonight with him and helping set the #15 car up. Bill loves Desoto Super Speedway and everything about it. He thinks the track is great, the ownership is great and the staff and people are great. Bill is a real positive person and thinks that attitude is everything. Sponsors of Bill’s #15 car are: James Carter Attorney of Bradenton, Trimmers Holiday Décor of Sarasota, Steadam Ford of Fort Meade, Leonard McCue of Q Auto and Injury Attorneys, and Chapman Fruit Company.
