Drew Brannon/ Butch Miller Team Up For ASA Late Model Win
KARNAC Media
Drew Brannon, with crew chief Butch Miller's help, stormed to the front early to win the ASA Southern Division opener for 2009 at Charlotte County Motorsports Park. The ASA late models started 16 cars, with Brannon in the fifth starting spot, before a packed house of 1500 race fans.
Justin Larson took second, just not quite strong enough to catch Brannon in the corners. Brandon Johnson, driving the Suncoast Motorsports entry, managed a third place finish with only seven cylinders firing the last 75 laps of the race.
