Johnny Collins continues to be the most dominant driver in late models
While most of Central Florida struggled with rain and storms today, Volusia Speedway was missed by the weather and was able to proceed with racing. 121 cars turned out for a night of fantastic race action on a particularly racy surface.
One brief sprinkling stalled action just before the 4-Cyl Pure Stock heats, but racing was underway again quickly thereafter. Volusia Speedway was finally struck by heavier rain as the final feature (UMP DIRTcar Street Stock) was completing lap 17.
Racing for the evening was complete at that point.
